A two-layer controller for local vehicle diagnostics, combining regulated power, CAN communication, touchscreen connectivity, and embedded processing.

This two-layer PCB was designed as a complementary diagnostic device for an unmanned vehicle. It receives vehicle information over CAN and makes sensor and battery status available through a local touchscreen interface.

Interface decisions
The display can be connected through either I²C or SPI. The microcontroller receives vehicle information from another device over CAN, separating the local diagnostic interface from the rest of the platform.
